National Small Business Week (NSBW) takes place the first week of May yearly and falls on Sunday April 30th – Saturday May 6th this year. For over 50 years the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has celebrated NSBW with virtual summits and awards that recognize the yearly SBA winners. These awards “recognize the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners”. NSBW is co-hosted by SCORE, mentors to America’s small businesses and a resource partner of SBA.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 2nd and Wednesday May 3rd and get registered here for the free 2-day virtual summit. “This year’s event will include educational presentations by experts, an exhibit hall, networking, and a mentoring lounge where you can get your questions answered. The event is free to attend for both established and aspiring business owners.”
As a small business owner and supporter, we at BizVox hope you’ll take this opportunity to support as many small businesses as you can. Understanding the impact that small businesses have on your community and how their determination to compete against large corporations is what defines and makes your local community special.
