Thanks to the 20 years of it’s existence, SID is now celebrated in over 190 countries. “From cyberbullying to social networking to digital identity, each year Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns.”
As of December 2023 it was reported that the average screen time per day globally is 6 hours and 58 minutes. Making sure that all children are being safe is a great reminder to double check the internet access your kids and teenagers have on their computers and hand-held devices.
