The Invention of Wireless Internet
Depending on if you’re looking for the professional, consumer, or commercial introduction and use of Wi-Fi, you’ll find different answers. From 1971 and ALOHAnet in Hawaii, to the 1990s and the creation of Wi-Fi technology in a radio-physics lab at CSIRO, to the roll-out of the Apple Airport devise in 1999, most people don’t go a day without appreciating what this invention has done for them.
Are you one of those people on Wi-Fi most of the day? If so, be sure to share the news with a friend that tomorrow is World Wi-Fi Day. And be sure to celebrate!
